We are located in Portland, Oregon and are focused one growth within the boating industry! We are a Boat Dealership that offers the best quality boats, parts, and service in the Northwest. We are now looking to improve our professional team with a new addition.

Currently we are interviewing for a rigger. Experience required in a commercial rigging position, self reliance, self motivation, maturity, attention to detail, and perfect organizational skills. In this position you will not be overseeing any employee's.

Skills/Requirements

  • Rigger must possess general motor knowledge of Mercurys, Hanging, Servicing, Installing, Readying boats for delivery, and Basic Electronic experience.
  • Rigger needs to have strong communication, excellent organizational, team building, associate development, conflict resolution, coaching, and discipline skills.
  • The Rigger will be able to communicate effectively in speech, writing, must be able to understand and act on written information, and must have the ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Your main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Professionalism.
  • Ability to completely satisfy customers in a professional, courteous, and timely manner on a daily basis. Ensure that customer complaints and problems are handled promptly and professionally.
  • Possess strong communication skills both in speech and writing with subordinates and supervisors, ability to development, be coached.
  • Prepares or assists in the preparation and delivery of boats and motors.
  • Understands and executes financial and economical functions in the proper operation of a retail store.
  • Operate within established budgetary cost controls while achieving sales and profitability goals.
  • Clean, Labeled, Stocked and Organized Front of House and Back of the House Stock.
  • Ensures all safety standards and practices regarding the proper use of company approved safety equipment like back belts, safety knives, engine hoists, and ladders.

We are offering commission for this position.
